Amrani and Lombardo agreed on exploring means and efficient instruments to assist in implementing ambitious and concrete projects
Barcelona- The Secretary General of the UfM, Youssef Amrani received today at the Headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean, The President of Sicily Region, Mr. Raffaele Lombardo.

During the meeting, the Sicilian delegation tapped on the future potential collaboration with the Secretariat of the UfM, especially with regard to projects and development initiatives that are priorities to the countries on both shores of the Mediterranean. Both parties stressed on the need to give more importance to youth and civil society in the Mediterranean region through establishing networks of transnational cooperation and coherent and effective projects among the Mediterranean countries.

Amrani and Lombardo agreed on exploring together means and efficient instruments to assist in implementing ambitious and concrete projects, particularly within the framework provided by ARLEM.
