Youssef Amrani, Morocco’s Deputy Foreign Minister, sits down with host Carol Castiel to preview the objectives of the planned strategic discussions between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and H.M. King Mohammed VI, which include talks about Syria, Mali and the Israeli-Palestinian stalemate.

Morocco hosts the fourth “Friends of Syria” meeting in Marrakech, which Secretary of State Clinton was scheduled to attend.  J. Peter Pham joins Carol in the second half to offer observations and analysis about Morocco’s political transition and role in the region.
